Update from 3.8 to MAS continually unsuccessfull
I have tried twice to update to the MAS 3.9 and I has failed.
I have the latest version of the nonMAS app. I have "cleared the cache", and "rebuilt the data file". My dropbox is fully synced and 1password Version 3.8.5 (build 31141) runs great.
I deleted that app, downloaded the MAS version and launched the new app. It launches, asks me to if I am a returning user so I select it. It identified the dropbox keychain automatically. I selected it, and then....nothing, well almost nothing. The app is open and running, but there is no window and it appears to be locked. I tried to "unlock It" in the menu bar, but it would not take my password (and yes it was the right one). My google chrome extensions worked just fine. it inputed Usernames and passwords just fine, the main app just wont open.
Once again I have tried this process twice to no avail. Please help. I love this app and I want it to work. Thank you.
Oh and I am not a programer or super Mac person who can open terminal and make magic happen. I don't think any one should have to in order to make an app that they paid for run. That's the general reason people pay such a premium for them, they just work.

It works fine on my laptop (which is where I originally bought it from the Mac App Store), but I have the same problem as Jonathan when I have tried to install it on my main machine, an iMac 24" running 10.7.1

Thanks Jon for the link, however, I am not going to do that. Once again, as an owner, I don't feel that I should have to do things like this to get my product to work. I am all about using scripts and terminal to "enhance" or "personalize" my user experience, in fact, I just used GeekTool to customize my desktop, but just getting the product to work at all is entirely different. I have purchased 1password from the MAS for the discount price. Once the folks at Agilebits address this problem, and release 4.0 or 3.9.1 (as I am sure they will), I will try to install it again. In the meantime, 3.8.5 still works great.Flag 0
