1Password 3.9, 2 Users, same Mac [Answered]

Hi,

I don't understand the FAQ for the new MAS-1Password-Version.

Me and my wife have own user-accouts on the same Macbook.

My wife uses 1Password with a local datafile an I use a dropbox-Data-File.

Will it be possible to do so with the new version?

In the FAQ, there's written:

"Only one (1) 1Password data file allowed. You cannot switch between data files dynamically, either through 1Password preferences or by using the Finder."

I dont want to switch to another account, but will it be possible for me and my wife to user our own data-files?

Thank you!

As long as the data files are stored on separate user accounts you can each use a separate data file. That answer is saying you can't dynamically swap between two data files on a single user account.
  • Okay, thank you.
