Duplicated icon in launchpad

I've just upgraded from 3.8.5 to 3.9 via the App Store.



I now have two icons within the Launchpad.



How do I get rid of one of these?

I have the same problem. How did you solve it?

I followed your install instructions and put 3.8.5 in the trash before downloading 3.9 (but didn't empty the trash). Just noticed I have two 1P icons in LaunchPad. How do I figure out which one to delete? Afraid of deleting all associated files due to sandboxing.

Hi frikfrak,



Sorry for the delayed reply. You can delete the 1Password 3.8.x version from your /Applications folder (it'll likely be at /Applications/1Password.app whereas the MAS version will be at /Applications/1Password/1Password.app -- note the folder difference). This should solve the issue for you.
