Does not work on Tesco.com

Why does 1Password not work on secure.tesco.com login page?

It detects password has been entered and stores it, but does not paste it back in next visit??

    Hi iprofessor,

This page worked perfectly for me using 1Password 3.9 and Safari 5.1 using this page: https://secure.tesco.com/register/default.aspx?vstore=0

I did not have to do any extra steps in order to get this page to work. I filled in some dummy data, hit the enter/return key, and 1Password prompted me to save my login. I did, and then when I went back to the page 1Password filled in both the username and password.

If your experience is different, please try saving the login manually like this:

    1. Enter your username and password, but DO NOT submit the form.

    2. Click the 1Password button in your browser's toolbar, and select the "+" button in the upper right hand corner.

    3. Change the title and make any notes (if desired).

    4. Click the Save button in the upper right hand corner.

    Thanks

  • Hi

I am using iP 3.9.0 and Safari 5.1 on OSX 10.7.1 and Tesco does not work.

I tried your alternate method and it recorded the login and password exactly as with the normal method.

Using either method, when I select IP then Tesco it does not paste in either the login or password - both form fields remain blank and there is no sign 1P even tried as the website does not report bad user/password etc.

See attached screenshot, are these the fields that should be recorded?

    thanks for your help

Yes, that is exactly what I have.

Perhaps you do not have the latest version of the Safari extension installed?

  • I find much the same at www.asb.co.nz - it will save and fill in the user name but never the password.

Yes, that is exactly what I have.

That has fixed the Tesco.com login problem - thanks.

Note sure how I could of obtained the helper update though as the link you gave is to an unreleased beta version?
