Chrome extension issues in Lion

Does Chrome extension work for anyone on Lion? Whenever I try to unlock the 1Password extension in Chrome, nothing happens. The same master password works fine in Safari,but in Chrome its like a dead application.

    Yes! I am having the same problem. I've tried to un-install, re-install a few times with the same result. Sometimes I get a Chrome error window pop up stating the 1Password is un-responsive. This is frustrating since I use Chrome as my main browser.



    I just downloaded 1Password and am a new user.

    Same for me, I have Chrome 13.0.782.220, and 1Password - Version: 3.6.3.30953. Whenever I press the key icon I get a "Enter master key" box once and no matter what I enter it always stops responding after I press the enter key. Afterwards I can't click it again. Right clicking the icon and selecting any of the options go to either google.com (my homepage) and the 1Password link redirects to https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/[some random string]



    Also hosting the extension on https://d13itkw33a7sus.cloudfront.net/dist/1P/ext/1Password.crx doens't look very trustworthy imho (but that might be just me) <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

    I use Google Chrome 14.0.835.159 beta along with extension 1Password Beta - Version: 3.8.3.31055. No issues.



    However, I'm guessing you're using 3.9 while I'm 3.8.5

    1Password 3.9 requires the beta version of the Chrome extension which can be obtained here:



    https://agilebits.com/extensions/mac/index.html



    Please make sure you check the box to allow betas and then click on the install button next to Chrome.

    After upgrading to 1PW 3.9, the Chrome extension (3.6.3.30953) does not work in Lion (10.7.1) for me.

    I successfully installed the beta version of the extension and the helper icon appears in the menu bar (Chrome ver 13.0.882.220)

    However after entering my master password in the Master Password popup window, pressing "enter" has no effect.



    Also when launching the 1PW application the Web Browser Extensions page appears and shows that Chrome is not installed.



    Have uninstalled and reinstalled extension several times.



    Where exactly do you find the check box in Chrome to allow beta versions of extensions?
