Some Problems with 3.9.0

Hello Agile,

New user to 1Password and have just download to my IMac running Lion and latest Safari version.

1) There seems to be a lack of Sync between the IP button in Safari and the IPassword app Master Password. One doesn't unlock the other in one direction.

2) When setting up it asks for a password hint but I can't see where you can retrieve the hint if required.

3)I need to login to a bank service which is through a secure layer http://anz.com.au/personal/ as an example. IP can't do this however using the extension I can't gather my login details as there isn't a suitable category. The closest is Credit Card which I have my card details stored in not my logon details. I also use a bank which uses a scramble pad once again 1P can't login but without the app running I can't retrieve any details.

Am I just expecting the extension to do too much? and should I just have the App running instead. Or is this just a case of me not using the App the way it was designed.

Cheers

Bill

    Hi Bill.

#1 is a known bug. Reinstalling the extension after a password change fixes it.

#2 you will be prompted if you would like to see your hint when you type your MP incorrectly.

#3... I'm not sure I understand the issue. Anything that you wish to "login" to should be stored as a login item.

Please try saving the login manually like this:

    1. Enter your username and password, but DO NOT submit the form.

    2. Click the 1Password button in your browser's toolbar, and select the "+" button in the upper right hand corner.

    3. Change the title and make any notes (if desired).

    4. Click the Save button in the upper right hand corner.
  • 1) Thanks

    2) No it doesn't, neither on the extension or the app.

    3) Ok I'll try something else.

    Cheers
