Chrome 1P widget stops working

I was using Chrome today to login to some sites so I know it was working. Suddenly, the little key icon is no longer working. Since 1P is not released for the version of Firefox I have, it is really a setback!

I deinstalled/resintalled, and that has not helped.

Please advise.

  • I did some more looking around and found it was recommended to update 1P. Turns out there was an update available, so I installed it. After doing this, the Chrome "key" icon instead of just "clicking" and doing nothing, displayed the older form of the password entry screen. But after entering the password, it remains locked up. It responds to the click, but does not display the drop down. I now recall that this is what it did before. That is, display the "old form" password entry dialog box, then locks up after password entry.
  • Hi jasimon9,

First of all, which version of Firefox are you using, our new add-on already works with Firefox 6 and 7 and we're close to having it working properly in Firefox 8 and 9 too.

Secondly, the Chrome extension would work just fine, but can you try the latest Beta version to see if that does the trick.

    I hope that helps,
