Browser Extension not updating with changes in 1Password Application

I am having some frustration. I use 1Password 3.8.5 with Safari 5.1. (Lion) My Agile Keychain is stored in Dropbox.

For some reason I have 4 different log-ins for eBay from different password changes that I had made. When I am attempting to log-in to eBay and go to the 1P button on Safari, it shows these 4 different log-ins. So, I went into the 1Password Application and deleted the three that were wrong and then I selected "Empty Trash" in the 1 Password Application. I quit Safari (both with Command-Q and also with Command-Option-Q). When I come back to Safari, the four log-ins are still in the 1P browser extension. I tried deleting and reinstalling the extension, I tried clearing the cache, restarting the agent, rebuilding the data file. None of these things work. Right now, the 1Password application only shows one log-in for e-bay, but the browser extension continues to show four.

What do I have to do to get my 1 Password Application and my 1P browser extension for Safari to use the same information?

Any help is appreciated.

This is addressed in our troubleshooting guide: Extension Data Does Not Match the Main Application

    Hope that helps.
