Any relief for a (very) recent purchaser?

I was happily using 1Pasword 2.x until I upgraded to Lion about two weeks ago and had to buy 3.8. Now it appears I have to pay another $20 just to keep the app current. I don't recall getting fair warning about 3.9 at the time. Apple usually accommodates this sort of thing with a free look-back upgrade. Any similar accommodation to be had from you all?
