Crash when duplicating item

paulk

I am running 1Password 3.9 under OSX 10.7.1.

I have my entries sorted into folders. If I select an item in a folder and apply the Duplicate command from the Edit menu, the program crashes. Upon restart, I find the new item has been created, but does not appear in the folder - only in the complete list (in prior versions without the crash, it appears in the folder that the original was in).

  • I am running 1Password Version 3.8.5 (build 31141) (just upgraded!) under OSX 10.7.1 which also crashes. If I duplicate an item, then edit it, once I try to save, it crashes - every time.

Ditto on my machines still running 3.8.5 under Snow Leopard.
  • Hey, paulk and persojm! Welcome to the forums! <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

I am sorry you are having this problem as well, velgor. I tested this but wasn't able to reproduce it. Are you able to using a new Login item?I am just wondering if you are duplicating an item that is damaged, and this is causing the crash. Another team member was able to confirm that this is a known issue, although it has been difficult for us to reproduce, and therefore, we haven't been able to fix it yet.

Please let me know. I look forward to hearing back from you. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />
