Why do I have to enter my Master Password to unlock each time I attempt to use 1PW? Is there a setting I can enter to bring it back to how it was before... just opening when I clicked on the 1P button?

    Welcome to the forums! I'm sorry for the delayed reply.



    It used to be that 1Password would only prompt you for your password within Safari when you were trying to fill a form or save a login. For enhanced security, it now requires your Master Password in order to be able to see what logins you have saved.



    It is possible to get 1Password to prompt you less often for your password by adjusting the settings in 1Password > Preferences > Security. In addition, if you open the Safari extension, click on the gears icon (bottom left) and check "Enable Universal Unlock" (after also enabling this setting in 1Password itself), the extension will only lock when explicitly told by you to do so, or when the main 1Password app locks.
