Go & Fill helper icon in menu bar issue [Answered]

I did a quick search but could not find this listed as a known issue so I'm just wondering if it's only me.

I purchased the MAS 3.9 1Password today and got it installed successfully. It seems to be working except that when I choose Go & Fill from the menu bar helper icon it opens the website in Firefox and Chrome but doesn't fill the fields.

It seems to work fine in Safari.

Is this a known issue?

    Hi SaSaSushi,

A silly question perhaps, but do you have the latest 1Password extension installed in Firefox and Chrome? In particular, Chrome requires the latest beta extension in order to work with 1Password 3.9.
  • Ah - I have this. Using FF7 latest and 1P 3.9 with 3.8.3b3 extension. Had assumed that it wasn't yet working with FF.

I think so. I'm using 3.8.3b3 and a check for updates in Firefox Add Ons reveals none. I'm using the latest build of Firefox 7 beta.

Maybe it's a FF 7 thing? I have not tried it with FF 6. Thanks very much for confirming the issue.
  • Latest extension 3.8.5.b1 seems to have fixed this <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> So whoever is responsible for pushing these out is doing a fine job.

I can confirm this! <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/emoticon-0123-party.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='(party)' /> It is now working on the latest Firefox 7 beta with Extension 3.8.5b1.

Well done, although the extension had not updated automatically. I had to check for updates and voila, there it was.
