Buy 3.9 now but use later

Can I buy 3.9 now and use it when I upgrade to Lion?

    Hi kitmos,



    MAS won't let you make the purchase unless your computer has Lion running. That said, it would be possible to purchase 1P on a friend or family member's computer running Lion using your Apple ID, and then install it on your own computer later.

    Hi Kit,



    Yes you could what you need to do is use a friends computer to log into the App store and purchase it that way then delete the app from there system etc and sign out. The purchase will be there waiting for you when you decide to upgrade.

    Of the hundreds of people that I know that use a Mac NONE have upgraded to Lion so I guess I will have to wait until 1Password goes

    on sale again. So will 3.8 work under Lion until I do get 3.9?
