3.9 on laptop not working

Hi,
I have 1password sync across 3 computers using Dropbox. I've recently purchased the MAS version and managed to install it correctly on the two iMacs. However on my laptop when installed I wasn't given the choice to locate my file on the first opening of 1password.
I've tried deleting and reinstalling but I don't get asked for the location of my original file. The file it opens I don't know the password to?
Could really do with getting this working asap.
Thanks

Hi there RossA,
I'm very sorry to hear you are having trouble.
First, please double check and make sure that on the laptop, 1Password exists at ~/Dropbox/1Password.agilekeychain. Once you've done that...
Quit 1Password and all web browsers.
Backup (pretty please) and then delete the following files / folders, if they exist (if not just skip to the next one):
~/Library/Application Support/1Password
/Applications/1Password.app
/Applications/1Password (folder)
~/Library/Containers/com.agilebits.onepassword-osx
~/Library/Containers/com.agilebits.onepassword-osx-helper
Once deleted, please reinstall 1P from the MAS. It should now be able to pick up on your keychain stored in Dropbox.
Let me know how it goes. Thanks!

Hi RossA,
It is pretty important that those get deleted as well. By default, Lion hides the ~/Library folder. You can access it by opening Finder and selecting Go > Go to Folder and pasting in
~/Library
and then hitting "Go."
Please try it again, including all of the above mentioned files / directories.
Hope that helps.Flag 0
