What happened to this feature? I used it all the time to safely send passwords to friends. Can we have it back please, it seems to have disappeared for no apparent reason.
Bonus question: I've seen a lot of talk about running the iOS version of 1Password after upgrading to the MAS version corrupting your database, if stored on Dropbox.
Is this true? My database is on Dropbox and the Mac version seems to be working fine. I have 1Password Pro on my iPhone configured for Dropbox sync, is it safe to run it?

Hi Lion,
The feature had to be removed due to the fact that we did not have an appropriate license to export the Blowfish encryption it was using. This was not a problem when we were selling 1Password ourselves, but becomes one when Apple sells it for us. We are looking into a way to bring this feature back.
As for the bonus, I sync 1P 3.9 from the MAS, 1P 3.8 from our store, an iPad, an iPhone, and an Android phone (Casio Commando Android 2.2) which no issues whatsoever. As always, it is a good idea to backup your data before performing any kind of software update.Flag 0
