1P 3.9.0 - Search Getting Reset
Hi
I just replaced the latest 3.8 version with one from MAS (3.9.0), using instructions as specified in this forum.
I use Lion & sync with Dropbox. Have not installed any browser extensions.
Now I am facing a very strange problem of the search field getting reset. Steps to recreate below:
1. Pick any random folder.
2. Type a search string in the 'Search' bar resulting in more than one search result.
3. Edit any one of the results. Save the change.
4. Select another item from the search results.
5. The search string disappears and the entire list of search results get reset!!!
Ideally, the search string should have stayed till it was deleted.
Regards

Hi ikazi,
I was not able to reproduce this.
1. I picked my "Agile" folder
2. I typed in "agile"
3. I edited my forum account login item and added "123" to the notes and saved it
4. I clicked on my @agilebits email account
5. This did not happen for me
Are you able to reproduce this consistently?Flag 0 -
Something similar happened to me. I opened/unlocked the main app. Clicked on logins then in the search bar. When a group of logins matching that search came up I clicked on one that I wanted to edit. After I saved this I tried to click on another item in the search list but before I could the search field cleared by itself and the list returned to the all logins view. I then had to reenter the search text to get those back and then to edit another one in the list. This actually happened a couple of times requiring me to be very quick with my entry/edit/save and selection of another log in to edit. I just tried to duplicate this again but it did not happen, everything worked correctly. I wasn't hallucinating, it did happen! But if there was something that precipitated this I don't know what it was. Apparently it's intermittent or just a one time fluke.Flag 0

Those kinds of issues are the best! <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />
But seriously, they are very difficult to track down, but the more info we can gather about the conditions that it happens under the better we can find the bug and squish it.Flag 0 -

Hi AWS team:
Yes, I am able to recreate it consistently. Exactly the way pappjo is recreating it.
Only difference in my case, I have been seeing it for the past 3-4 days, ever since I got 3.9.0
Let me know if you'd like any particular info or screen shots.

I started a thread about this here, at least someone is reading yours.

Hey charlie, sorry about that. I'm slowly working my way through the backlog. I've updated your thread with a link to this one.Flag 0
