BUG: keyboard shortcut for helper takes over (systemwide) [Answered]

I've set the keyboard shortcut to alt-space to fill login in my browser. But after some time / sleep / wake up, the shortcut takes over in all applications and not only the browser(s). So when I'm in some other app, and use the shortcut for the 'content assist' there (it's a development app), it won't respond, it's blocked altogether. 1Password also doesn't show anything (I wouldn't have excepted so). When I quit the 1Password Helper in the 1Password settings, the shortcut starts working again in other applications.

Running the latest version of 1Password from the MAS on Lion (latest) on a MacBook Pro 17" - 2011.

    Hi there,

    Welcome to the forums. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

As of the moment, that behavior is expected. We suggest picking a keyboard shortcut that will not interfere with other applications.

This may change in the future but for now so long as the helper is running, it will grab the keyboard shortcuts assigned to 1P (regardless as to what other applications are running).

    Thanks!
