Upgrade notifications? [Answered]

Hi,



Just a short question: In the non-MAS version of 1Password, I got an upgrade notification when I started 1Password. How is this handled in the MAS-version of 1Password? Will there be an upgrade notification or do I have to start the App Store-app to get upgrade notifications?



The point is: 1Password is the only app I have ever purchased and I practically never start the App Store-app...

I'm also extremely interested in the answer to this question.



So far I really dislike MAS apps compared to "normal" distribution methods, though I admit this may be due to a misunderstanding regarding how it is supposed to work.



I went ahead and jumped on the MAS version of 1password for the $19 sale, but so far I'm wishing I was back on 3.8.x. (some bugs in 3.9 are annoying me.)

The MAS will badge it's icon indicating there are updates regardless as to if it is running or not.
