Unable to Install on Droid Bionic

I just got a Motorola Droid Bionic and attempted to install the app but I keep getting an error popup with the text "package file is invalid" during the installation process from the Android Market.

  • Hello Sufian,

I am sorry to hear about the installation issue .

I did a fresh install of 1Password for Android today from Market without any issues but

I know some customers have an error while downloading and installing the application on their phones.

Notice that 1Password Reader is installed by default on the phone's external storage and if the storage (usually SD card)

is not ready, there may be an issue.

This has nothing to do with the application itself though and is a known issue when applications are going to be

installed on the phone's SD card.(By the way, please make sure your phone's SD card is not corrupted, not full, properly mounted into its slot and not locked by any other process

(for ex. by file transfer between your phone and computer)). Most customers had the issue you've described when their phone was connected through USB port to computer for the data transfer.

The problem is easily addressed though, please follow the links
