Keychain locks automatically after just a few seconds

Was working fine in the standalone app, but as soon as I started using the MAS version, the keychain only stays unlocked for 5-10 seconds no matter what I do. Each time it locks, there's a line in the console:

9/23/11 10:13:48.067 AM [0x0-0x301301].com.agilebits.onepassword-osx: Sep 23 10:13:48 computername 1Password[16482] <Debug>: [39001] <AGBonjourMonitor: 0x7fb2120ba1f0> - -[AGBonjourMonitor stop]

Any suggestions? This is really annoying.

Looks like it's related to using Synergy. Hopefully can be fixed soon.

You might have to wait for an update from Synergy. They don't appear to have a Lion-compatible version at this time.

If the application is not Lion-compatible, you may need to stop it from running, as that instantly clears up several issues we have seen: cases of 1Password "unlock --> lock" madness as well as your screen saver coming on for no reason at all (and usually on a Space in Mission Control other than the one you're using). Several reports from Lion systems have been completely stable since they removed DisplayPad.

Similar applications may have the same behavior: one customer reported the new extension locking too often with "Air Display" installed -- once it was removed, 1Password no longer locked with wild abandon. Another customer reported that upgrading LaunchBar fixed the issue.

If you don't have any of these applications and cannot find the cause, you can temporarily disable 1Password's "Lock when screensaver is activated" preference in the 1Password > Preferences > Security window.
