Limited Coupon Code For Late Lion Adopters?

Sorry, I was under the impression that developers could offer coupons too. No problem. All I have to do is drink fewer Starbuck coffee to make up the difference.[/color]



I realize there's no 'rain check' available for folks who have the latest 1P on their Snow Leopard.



I have a personal policy of waiting 6-months before adopting a new OS. And by the way, this policy paid off in not having to deal with a lot of frustration that folks experienced with SL.



So my question: Could you folks be so kind as to 'consider' making a special coupon that can be redeemed at the MAS? Maybe the MAS allows a time limit when the coupon can be used. I don't know. I'm just requesting that you give it some consideration.



I'm waiting for 7.2 an would love to be able to get 1P at the special price or special 'coupon' price (which, if was 25% off would still be nice:) ).

It would be cool if we could do that, but as you mention, this is controlled by Apple. (Even the promotional codes developers receive in order to provide NFR copies to media outlets are pretty limited.)



If you happen to have a friend who already has Lion installed, you can log in to your App Store account on that computer to purchase 1Password at the discounted price. Once you have Lion on your own machine, you can download it there. Perhaps not ideal, but I thought I would mention the possibility in case it was helpful.
