Request -- Show Password option for login screen

Take a look at the KeePassDroid app; it provides an option to allow you to see the password as you type it in. Being able to see the password as I'm type it would be a great benefit. In fact, most of the time I don't have anyone looking over my shoulder at my passwords (the smaller screen of the phones also makes such "eavesdropping" less likely).

Great job bringing this out; I'm impressed you got it our so soon after the iPad version!

    Hi AltmanSoftware,

Thanks for the feedback, I know we're looking into a lot of options for 1Password for Android, so I'll certainly pass this along to out developer, though I can't promise if and when we'll be able to add this to the app.

We're really excited to have 1Password on the Android platform, and we're even more excited about what the future holds for it's development.

    Hi AltmanSoftware,

    Thank you for your feedback.

This handy option to see your password as you type will be available in the next release which is coming soon (together with many other features), so please stay tuned for the updates.

It was added, and I have been using it ever since. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

The implementation was recently changed, however, and now you can only check the show password option after you have started typing. As an added issue, whenever you toggle between show and hide password modes, the input cursor moves to the left-most position in the text-field (although this particular behavior is not new).

I'm hoping that you can take a look at make it so that the option is selectable before you start typing, as it was before.

    Thanks.

    Hi AltmanSoftware,

    Thank you for the feedback.

The 1Password for Android is getting completely new UI in the next version due in few weeks.

The fully functional version of the application is also in development.

The "Show Password" checkbox is taken out, new implementation will show password on gesture left to right over the password entry field for couple seconds only.

Please stay tuned for the application updates and send us your suggestions and recommendations.

    Best regards,
