Attachment Bug [In Process]

Hi,

Minor bug but irritating. I have just upgraded to 3.9 and have found that it crashes (sometimes) when I add, delete or open attachments. Once I open 1Password again, the error for that file does not repeat and I can carry out the required action. Does not happen for every attachment (small jpegs/pdfs).

Also, not sure if it is something I am doing, but I have found that it does not seem to always add both fields (login and password) for every site, sometimes I need to copy and paste. Not noticed this before on 3.8.

Neither is the end of the world!

  • Thanks for the report, Pigstick! We're working on the attachments issue and plan to have it fixed in the next update. Regarding the second issue, if you can give us an example URL where the login form was not saved correctly, we can investigate further.
  • Hi,

Thanks for the reply. The password thing is a bit weird so let me know if I do not supply enough information. I have been playing around with trying to log on to your site using 1Password and have found the problem exists in Chrome (15.0.874.54 beta) and Firefox (7.0.1) but not Safari. When I go to the logon screen and press the 1Password icon it appears to enter both the logon name and the password. However, then the password "disappears" and I get the message "Couldn't log you in as.." with both boxes now empty. Even more oddly when I copy and paste the password from 1Password (either from the Browser password list or from 1Password itself) I still get the error. This does not happen with Safari.

I have seen something similar on some sites, and we are working to improve autosubmit in as many cases as possible. Could you provide the URL for the website, so we can take a look at this particular case? Thanks for your help! <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />

For now, I would try disabling autosubmit for the Login(s) where you are seeing this problem. You will need to manually submit the Login after 1Password fills in your username and password, but it should work more reliably.
