Problem with 1P and extensions keeping in sync... login re-appears after deletion.

I'm not sure if the above has anything to do with my problem. I grabbed that from Console. There are tons of errors like that there.



Anyway, setup:



Lion 10.7.1

1P 3.9

Firefox 7.01

3.8.6.b8 extension



Keychain stored in Dropbox.



When I delete a login from 1Password.app, it syncs to Firefox and the login no more shows up either on 1P.app nor Firefox, but soon thereafter (a minute, two max?) the deleted login re-appears on both 1Password.app and Firefox. Even when I have emptied the trash on 1P.app.

    I've run into this before myself.



    I don't know anything about what's in your console report...but you might try this:



    Remove both your Safari and Firefox 1P extensions.

    Quit both browsers completely; might need to option - quit depending on your Lion settings

    Launch 1P app and delete what you want to delete

    Empty 1P Trash

    Go to the browser section of 1P and install extensions for Safari and Firefox



    Yes...this is a pain...and it's not supposed to have to work this way, but it's the only way I've consistently been able to get things to stay deleted. From what little I understand, the extensions have their own sandboxed versions of the 1P data and some latency wonkiness can cause those deletions to come back from the dead on you...hopefully will be fixed in 3.9.1

    I probably shouldn't be typing this when I'm about to go to sleep, but I think this was resolved in the 3.8.6.b10 extensions. The Doctor offers a sage remedy. I would uninstall the browser extension(s), empty 1Password's trash, and then reinstall the beta extension(s).
