• Thanks, Gilles. I was not able to reproduce the problem with the same configuration. When you click the menu bar icon and select Open 1Password, is anything written to Console.app?

    Hello

1Password was within a folder call 1Password in the Mac Os' Application folder, this is how v 3.9 MAS is installed

by moving the 1P app out of the folder and put directly in the Mac os ' Application Folder

it does launch with the helper application in the menu bar

it wasn't finding it (1P app) when it was in the folder called 1password, console was stating can't find application

I suggest you review the way 1Pass word is installed from the MAS

    fyi
  • Gilles, Mac App Store automatically does that sometimes when it finds that the application already exists in the Applications folder. In our upgrade guide for existing customers, we recommend that you drag the existing version of 1Password from the Applications folder to the Trash, first. I am not sure that we have any control over how MAS installs applications, as I have seen this same thing happen with other applications, also; however, we will certainly keep an eye out for any areas in which we can make improvements.

    Thanks for following up!
