browser extensions: arrow-key navigation, please!

dear, agile,

as someone who primarily navigates on my macs via keyboard shortcuts (as opposed to a mouse/trackpad), when i invoke 1P in safari, i instinctively want to navigate the window with the arrow and return keys. but i can't.

already, if there are multiple log-ins for a given web page, we can use the up- and down-arrows to move among them, followed by the return key to select. well, why not take this a bit further?

for example, the default position is log-ins. (please see screenshot.) say i want to get to my wallet items (credit cards). why can't i:

- arrow left to select the log-ins icon

- arrow down -- twice -- to select the wallet-items icon

- arrow right to select the first wallet item

- arrow down (if necessary) to move through the various wallet items

please consider adding this functionality.

thanks.

  • Hello, soundsgoodtome, and thanks for the great feedback! I'm happy to tell you that this functionality already exists, and is even simpler than you suggested:

    - ⌘\ to invoke extension

    - [tab] to switch between categories

    - arrow up/down to select a particular item

    Hope that helps!
