Printing Data

I can't make any promises on a time frame for when we may be able to bring this to 1Password, but that doesn't mean we won't. We've always believed in trying to be as honest and realistic with our users as possible rather than making lots of empty promises.
I'm sorry I can't give you a more positive answer right now, but thank you so much for letting us know that you would find this useful. We do take the number of users who request a feature into consideration when we decide on our feature lists.
If we can be of further assistance in the meantime, please let us know. We are always here to help!Flag 0 -
This is very frustrating. I moved from LastPass because so much of 1 Password is better suited to my needs. But to discover not be able to print the Secure Notes is very unfortunate. I can see Login not being an issue because if you cannot get a WiFi signal, then the pasword need sort of disapears. Not so with Secure Notes. I travel internationally for business and how can I access this information like passport numbers, medical informaton, etc. that have always been in my LastPass notes which I make an Excel file and have that file marked as a Favorite in Dropbox and therefore available whether I have a signal or not.
Is there no workaround such that the individual files under the Data sub directory show the secure note and could be marked a favorite in Dropbox?? This strikes me as a fairly serious drawback and it does not seem to be on the fix-it radar.
Thanks in advance for your assistance...Flag 0 -
Welcome to the forums, msohio! If it's not a hard copy that you need specifically but merely access to your data on the go, there are two ways to accomplish this:
1. Sync 1Password with your mobile device. 1Password is available for iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, Android, and Windows Phone 7 devices. 1Password syncs across all platforms via Dropbox. All the data is stored locally on your mobile device, so no network connection is needed.

2. It doesn't provide offline access via Dropbox but 1PasswordAnywhere works in any modern browser where you do have a network connection. That said, you can also place a copy of your 1Password.agilekeychain on a USB flash drive for offline access. Both of these are described in more detail here:

You cannot access the data via the Dropbox app since all your sensitive 1Password data is encrypted. The Dropbox mobile app does not know how to read it.
I will definitely pass your vote along for printing, though. Please let me know if there's anything else I can help with.

Khad....Thanks for the reply bu t my concern is the Secure Note more than the login data. By definition, if I need the login data, I am online so I can get to your data easily as you describe. I can more easily see situations where the Note data would be needed and I might take a printed copy. When I travel internationally, I always print out the current LastPass Notes for that reason.
Appreciate your software, just that for me this is a real hole in its functionality for a Windows user. I garther the Mac version allows printing whcih tells me you get from a functionality perspective, just have not made it priority to serve the Windows customer with the same product. A little unfortunate I think.Flag 0 -
Printing is certainly something we would like to add in the future, but I don't have a time frame. For now, offline access to all your data including Secure Notes is available on any iOS or Android device as well as any USB flash drive (or similar removable media).
Thanks again for your feedback!Flag 0 -
1Password 4 for iOS was recently released. There has not been a big update to 1Password for Windows at this time. The situation with printing has not changed from my last post a few weeks ago, but it is still on our list.Flag 0
