Launch 1Password

I feel like an idiot. I've used 1Password for Mac for years with no problem, but I can't figure out how to launch the application in Windows7.

In Mac you click on gear in the drop down box and there's a bar to click to launch the app.

How do I do this in Win7?

Thanks

    Welcome to the forum, gudrun!

I assume you're talking about being able to launch the 1Password program from within the 1Password extension for your browser. If so, you're right: that ability has been removed for some time, now. We may be able to restore it in some future release.

In the meantime, you can launch 1Password from the Windows "start" menu, just like any other Windows program. For your convenience, you can also put a shortcut to 1Password on the Desktop or Windows task bar.

In Windows 7, simply bring up the Start menu and then enter "1P" (no quotes). 1Password.exe should appear in the list and you can launch it.

Then pin 1Password to the Windows 7 task bar.
