Search Facility - Cannot count the number of characters in the words being searched for!

Attempting to search this forum and the Search Facility is obviously on a days holiday, well lets hope it is no longer.



Ensuring that words with at least 4 characters are being used a message displays to the effect that the search cannot be made because there are words with less than four characters.



Also I am being asked to believe that the word 'helper' has never been used in this forum.



I am a believer in self help and learning to jump the hurdles, but Search needs sorting/shooting/sticking back together to make this possible.

The search facility provided by the forum package we use leaves a bit to be desired. (I think I am spoiled by how good Google search is.) <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />



I dropped the limit down to 3 characters to see how it goes, but obviously words like "the", "and", etc. may cause some problems on the backend. We may need to revert this since we don't have the server farms that Google does powering this. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':wink:' />



I searched for "helper" and got back 141 results:
