Upgraded from 3.89 1PW to Mac App Store and now 1PW won't start

Now, any attempt to launch 1Password hangs (not responding) and requires a force quit (oy).

I've done the drill before on my macs, so not sure what the heck is the problem... This one is a distant remote via Remote Desktop, to make things more difficult...

Anyway, I updated to latest (3.89), then trashed old app, then purchased and downloaded the Mac App Store version and tried to launch it — no good (won't respond). No launch banner—nothing. BTW, this is Dropbox sync... I did try the repair with your troubleshooting tool, but that didn't help... So, I'm currently stuck in non-op mode. Help pls.

BTW, I read a problem thread where someone Agile (Khad) said the Mac App Store version can only read a Mac App Store 1PW Dropbox file if the filespec is “~/Dropbox/1password.agilekeychain”... That's wrong, correct? It is actually ”~/Dropbox/AGILE KEYCHAIN/1password.agilekeychain” — right?? That's how my Mac's are currently working, so that must have been a typo? No?

Anyway, I'm tired and I need a little Agile help guys. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_sweating.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='(sweat)' />

Thanks,

Chas

    OK, new day — new and different problem... <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_thinking.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='(think)' />

Upon connecting and continuing this morning, now 1PW will start — I know not why... But the Helper is disconnected for some reason. I followed the troubleshooting steps, but no joy..

    Help pls.

    Thanks.

    Hey Chas,

I'm sorry that you are having this problem. Can you tell me which browser (and its version) you are using? Please click the 1Password button in your browser's toolbar, select the Settings section (the gears in the bottom left), and then click "View Troubleshooting Report".

Can you copy and paste the information from the Troubleshooting Report in your reply?
