Problem with Icons and Favicons

[i]Hello. Some troubles/bugs for me. I have these problems only at home, with 3.9 version.[/i]

[i]I'll post one question for every post, for a better search.[/i]



New Logins don't add their respective site's favicons (not even the small thumbnail next to the blue globe), but a square shot (approx. 70x70 pixels) from the upper left corner of the webpage.



Not very tidy and useful effect in View Layout Shelves; these are often monochrome zones or cut letters!

(see attachment — "Google / 1" created in 3.8, the others in 3.9).



P.S.: If I "Download missing previews" in Preferences, all my existing favicons (full-sized or small thumbnail next to the globe) are overwritten by mentioned square-shots.

Sync via Dropbox. At Home, clear installation (not updated) in a new iMac.

Thanks for reporting this, kikoku! I have passed this along to the developers for resolution in an update.

Worsened bug in 3.9.1: no preview and no icon/favicon!
