How much longer do we need to wait for an update? [3.9.1 submitted to MAS]

How long before the MAS version gets an update for some much needed bug fixes. Why is the non MAS version receiving fixes but not the MAS.

Ever since buying 3.9 1passowrd has been a nightmare to use.

In my personal experience no nightmare!

I also have several and significant bugs with 3.9.0 version, but nevertheless I daily use it without major issues.

I am confident in the next release.

    At Work: Snow Leopard 10.6.8 / 1Password 3.8.1

Mine 3.9 works in the main, but I am getting increasing frustrated at the lack of updates and lack of info on same.

As a developer myself I can say 100% that there is no reason that Agile cannot submit as many updates to the MAS as they wish. To 'apparently ignore' those who have transitioned to MAS is really really bad PR and saps my confidence in Agile

Agile, give us some real news and a timescale

    Give us an update

    Yours frustrated

The lack of response from Agile seems to be much wider than one or two threads?

The manner of the change was rather like that of a light bulb when you hit the switch.

I am sure many users will draw their own conclusions from these events.

I am now regretting my move to the MAS version of 1Password, not that there are any pressing issues with it, but because of my dependency on it’s continued functionality given the current attitude of Agile.

Seemingly Agile have taken the lead from Apple in many aspects?

The most worrying is that Apple remain silent when there are known issues.

I have taken the precaution of travelling this route:

File > Export All > Text File and electing to leave all the field checkboxes ticked, just in case there is information in unexpected places.

Naming the file and saving it to disc before importing it into Excel as a Tab Delimited Worksheet.

This has provided me with an unencrypted listing of my password and log on details.

It unfortunately negates the protection afforded by 1Password but not having access to this information would be disastrous.

I hate the fact that this vulnerable list exists on my computer and the inconvenience of having to make it more efficient to use in emergency.

Silence is absolutely not ‘Golden’, in this situation it is very deeply concerning.

Presumably one of your steps was to place your unencrypted text file within an encrypted file

Hm. I am looking for a thread to which an AgileBits employee has not replied (at least once; most multiple times)…

Hopefully this here post of mine counts for something. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_bigsmile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-D' />

We have submitted 3.9.1 to the Mac App Store and are just waiting for Apple to make it available now. It has one of the more impressive changelogs I've seen come out of AgileBits.

perhaps you should make a sticky of this fact, if for no other reason than to communicate to the masses that they can expect something soon
Can an Agile employee please verify that the MAS Folders bug is fixed in 3.9.1? I have not been able to use folders functionality (adding item to a folder) since upgrading one of my Macs to MAS Lion. This is the fix I've been waiting weeks for. Please tell me you guys included it. Thanks.
