Trouble with iOS syncing

Love this tool, been using for almost 2 years now, but ever since I have always been annoyed by the sync interface on both sides, the iPhone and the mac. But I am here not to complain, yet the current build (3.8.10.BETA-1 (build #31180)) works like all other builds - the interface is too slow in regards to syncing. I have always been able to recreate this:

1. Set sync to manual.

2. hit sync, nothing appears to happen.

3. look in log on iPhone, sync is immediately recorded.

4. look back on mac, the sync screen is not updated.

5. look back on phone, wondering what happened, if anything

6. search date to see that yes, the phone was synced.

7. go back to phone, and jam on the sync button.

8. look at phone log, sync is instant and data updated.

9. look at mac, still says 8 weeks ago, or whatever.

10. finally, the mac display is updated.

That is just unacceptable no? please fix. thx!!!

Btw, who built this forum? It's really nice and I can tell it's a drupal forum because I was just trying to build one the other day, and mine has some of the same quirks. Are you using advanced forum module, or something else? I want mine to work like this!!! cheers.

I'm sorry to hear that you are having trouble syncing.

Before I go too far, I just want to mention that we offer a method of syncing that is fully automatic, does not require you to even be near your computer, and is our recommended method of securely syncing.

With Dropbox syncing, you can keep 1Password up to date from across town or across the country — anywhere you have an Internet connection. You Mac doesn't even have to be turned on!

I would strongly advise going with Dropbox syncing. It is more robust and just as secure as Wi-Fi syncing. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />

Wi-Fi syncing is still manual and you will need to be sure that 1Password is open on both your iOS device and your Mac. There may also be issues with Bonjour's networking services or your device may still be connecting to the Wi-Fi network. There are many different points of failure in Wi-Fi syncing, so it can be very difficult to troubleshoot. Dropbox syncing is much more robust since it does not depend on any particular network configuration.
