Trouble with Dropbox syncing from Windows to Mac

I'm brand new to 1password, giving it a try. I loaded it on my PC and saved to Dropbox. When I installed 1password on my Mac and started it I selected existing so I could use the same data on my mac and have access to my passwords. But, the database does not show up. There is no keychain there ... it's there, for some reason it can't be see by 1password on my mac. I know it's there cause when I try to move the Mac database to dropbox it says it's already there.



What is going wrong? Why doesn't the mac 1password see the PC 1password database in dropbox?

    Is the 1Password.agilekeychain file in the root of your Dropbox folder? Is your Dropbox folder located in the root of your home ( ~ ) folder?

    Also how do you add items to the Vault or is that all you get (login, wallet, accounts, software, secure notes and ID)?

    In 1Password's preferences you will see the path to your data file listed.

    In that screenshot, mine is located at this path:



    [CODE]Users > khad > Dropbox > 1Password > 1Password.agilekeychain[/CODE]

    Can you tell me what path you see in your 1Password preferences (or post a screenshot of it)?



    Likewise, can you tell me that path you see listed in 1Password for Windows' preferences?

    You can add items to the different vaults from the [b]File > New Item[/b] menu or by clicking the "[b]+[/b]" button in whichever vault you would like to create a new item. At this time custom item types are not supported.
