Can't get 1password to open link in new tab

I am using Firefox 7.0.1 with Windows 7 and want my 1password logins to open in a new tab. It doesn't work. How can I make this work?

    If you have the Double-Click option set to "Open Location in Browser" on the General tab of 1Password preferences, and Firefox is the selected browser, and you've enabled the "Open new windows on a new tab" option enabled in Firefox preferences, then double-clicking on a Login item in 1Password causes Firefox to do just that: open the corresponding login page in a new tab.



    The 1Password extension is working within Firefox and takes its cue from Firefox's settings. Some browsers have an option to "open all links on a new tab," but I don't see anything like that in Firefox 7.
