Dropbox used to work...
in Mac
Hi,
I've been using 1Password with dropbox for quite some time with no issues, until I updated to the new version from the Mac App Store. It installed fine and I told it I'm already a dropbox user, but it seems that 1Password has now decided to store my keychain outside of dropbox, so changes I make on that computer are no longer synced with Dropbox. When I go to preferences, I can see that my data is now stored in:
Library/containers/com.agilebits.../data/documents/1password.agilekeychain
and the "Use Dropbox" button is greyed out.
How can I get my keychain file back in dropbox?

Alright, I figured this one out on my own so I wanted to share it with everyone.
In order to use Dropbox, 2 conditions must be met:
- Your Dropbox folder must be in the root of your user folder, such as ~/Dropbox
- Your 1Password.agilekeychain file must be in a folder called "1Password" in the Dropbox folder, such as
~/Dropbox/1Password/1Password.agilekeychain
Once I had those conditions met I was able to click "Use Dropbox" and now my Dropbox syncing is back to normal!Flag 0 -
Glad you got it sorted out. You are indeed correct on both accounts <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />Flag 0
