What are the "Hotkeys"?

I see in the most recent update that it indicates a new item with a reference to a "Hotkey" menu. What is this feature and where is it located? Thanks.

    Fooligan, I believe the Windows term is "accelerator keys"—they're the letters you see underlined in a Windows program's menus and dialog boxes when you press the Alt key.

    Thanks for the information.



    I use hotkeys on my Mac all the time, but rarely on my Windows machine at work. I never got into using the accelerator keys for some reason? The only hotkey that I use on windows is ctrl+\. That's all I need.
