Customized Templates?

Fairly new user so sorry if this is an old question but I do not see it discussed in any other threads.

Is there anyway to create custom cards in 1Password for Windows? I would like to be able to create one card for each of my family members that has all of their vital info (SSN, Bdate, Drivers License, Passport, etc) rather than creating multiple cards for each person to represent each item.

Ultimately, if i could add fields to the Identity cards that would do the trick.

    Welcome to the forum, dkohl!

We seem to have lost our valuable archive of past posts in a move to the current forums, a few months back. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' />

Yes, it has been asked, and the answer is "not at this time." We do hope to add various customization options in a future version of 1Password, but it will require nearly simultaneous release of the software for all our platforms, and that's a big deal for a small team like ours, and I have no information about what kinds of options might be implemented or when they might become available.

In the meantime, I humbly suggest using Secure Notes for such information. With 1Password folders (and tags, on the Mac) you should be able to organize Secure Notes and other item types in a way that works for you.

    I hope that helps.
  • Thanks. That does help. I just discovered the Secure Notes card this mornign and it will work nicely for what I want to do.
  • Great! Thanks for your patiencee, dkohl.
