Update Lost Key for Windows

I ran the update and now am asked for the reg key in Windows. Since I purchased on iPad, I have no key and can't figure out how to get it. Or am I confused. Do I have to purchase separate copies for iPad and Windows?

    1Password for Windows requires a license from us, whereas the 1Password apps for iOS are sold exclusively in the iTunes App Store, and Apple doesn't provide a way for us to bundle them with our products for Mac and PC.
