All data missing

Hi - I am a long time user of 1Password (Windows). I last used it on Dec. 19. this morning I am back workings and when I clicked on the 1Password icon, it asked me to Create a New account or Open an old one. I tried multiply times to have it open the latest backup and it will not recognize it.

I created a new account and tried to import the latest database (last created on Dec. 19) it too will not recognize or import the database.

If I go the backup folder I see all my backup files for the last year.

I am running Windows 7. 1Password version - 1.09.244

Any ideas on how to restore my backup database?

Thanks

    1. Launch 1Password for Windows

    2. Select: Backup > Restore 1Password Data from Backup...

    3. Select your most recent backup
  • Welcome to the forum, bodaddy!

You cannot open a 1Password backup file directly—that is, you cannot specify a backup file as a data file. A 1Password backup file is intended (and suitable) for use only in restoring your 1Password data.

As Stefan says, the "backup" and "restore" functions are on the Backup menu in 1Password.
