Firefox hanging and using a lot of memory w/ addon installed

I was having some issues with Firefox (in Vista 64-bit) hanging and sometimes causing the whole system to become unresponsive for up to a minute and narrowed it down to the 1Password addon.

I'm specifically having the issues in a CMS I'm using that's not currently publicly available, so it may be hard to reproduce but I'm just wondering if there's some way I can provide a log or something that would be helpful.

While Firefox is hanging the memory usage is going up pretty fast so something must be going on, I'm just not sure how to find out what it is. In less than 30 minutes the memory usage was over 1GB, which is obviously not normal.

Build 1.0.0.77 should fix this problem. Can you please download build 1.0.0.77 and confirm this?

    Thanks!

I think there's still an issue here. I check for 1P updates at least daily and have the current build.

I'm running Windows 7 64-bit Enterprise. I haven't had any system hangs, crashes or anything like that. The browser just seems sluggish and sometimes will sort of go all white (it's a Windows 7 thing) but if I wait 5 or 10 seconds comes back and continues fine. In my case when I get prompted to save passwords I'm cancelling the dialog so as not to update the passwords.

I have the latest build (1.0.0.82) and its still not working for me. Firefox just starts hoarding ram until there is none left and then it crashes. The same things work fine with the plugin disabled. I tried setting up a new profile for Firefox and it didn't help.

    Firefox 3.6.6

    Windows 7 64-bit

    4GB RAM

    Intel Centrino 2 Core 2 Duo @ 2.13GHz

When I replied 6 days ago that I thought the problem still existed, I disabled the Firefox plug-in and have had zero problems. Firefox has been running at it's usual snappy speed.

I have now installed 1.0.0.83 and re-activated Firefox. Don't know if this makes a difference but actually uninstalled from FF, quit and restarted to make sure it was fully removed so 1P could then add it back. I'll let you know how it performs.

    Thanks for working on this.

Think there's still a problem. It seemed OK yesterday but this morning I started VMware Workstation 7. Launched FF and opened 7-8 tabs for AT&T wireless, AT&T wired, two for my bank, my employer expense reporting website, email, and some others. I downloaded my AT&T bills as PDFs one of which was hefty. I didn't use 1P to log into any of the sites. I'm using Roboform and when 1P would prompt to save a new login I just pressed ESCape. I have 8 gigs of RAM, Windows 7 64-bit.

    Thanks.

Can't wait for the final version
