Can't unlock main app, can unlock from Chrome extension after MAS upgrade...

Hey all. I upgraded following the instructions on the sticky post in this room. I updated to 3.8.5, I moved the 1password app to the trash, then I purchased and installed the app from the Mac App Store. I then started 1Password after the MAS install and found that the main app will not unlock with my password. I followed the link to the problems unlocking the app page and made sure the caps lock was off, num lock was off, etc. No luck. I restarted just for the heck of it to see if it would start working with no luck.



Then I logged into the forums here and noticed the new 1password dialog (nice, btw!) and thought I'd give unlocking from there a try and it worked. I have access to all my passwords and other data which is stored on DropBox but only from Chrome (I haven't tried other browsers).



Any advice?

    I'm sorry that we didn't get to you sooner.



    Please read [url=https://onepassword-osx.tenderapp.com/kb/1password-3-for-mac/1password-fails-to-continue-after-the-initial-welcome-screen]this Knowledge Base article[/url] on to fix this. After you do the command, restart 1Password and see if you can get in now.
