I suggest that affected users click the "star Icon" in the google bug report mentioned by lonewolf (http://code.google.c...etail?id=121006). This may bring some attention to it. (google account required)
  • Just adding another reply here for the sake of casting my vote.

In my experience. this is definitely a Windows-Chrome-specific issue. Other browsers on Windows, and all browsers I use on Mac do not exhibit this focus problem.

Unfortunately, this is not something we have any control over or can fix, so while your voice is heard here, your vote needs to be cast with Google via the link johannes123 posted directly above your reply.

It really would be nice if Google fixed this. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_worried.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':S' />

Hi, I've been following the bug report and it appears this bug has been fixed in the latest beta and dev builds of Chrome.

I've just upgraded to the latest Chrome beta for Windows (22.0.1229.14) and autofocus appears to be working in the 1Password extension.

Would be good to know if anyone can confirm this.

Thanks for posting that information here, pbryanw! I was just about to post the same thing, but you beat me to it. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

It does appear that this is resolved in Chrome 22. If anyone is still having the issue in Chrome 22, please let me know, or better yet mention it in the bug report for this issue so the Chrome team can resolve it once and for all.

    Cheers!

Hehe <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />, it's strange that the little bugs like this can often irritate you the most (especially when you've got used to it working the right way). I'm just glad it's fixed for good now (fingers crossed).

Indeed! Let's hope it stays fixed and doesn't get broken again before it goes stable. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
  • I have the same problem for about a half year.

Hey, fnkr. I'm not sure if you missed the posts above, but the Chrome team fixed the problem in Chrome 22. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

If you'd like to enjoy the fix now, you will need to install Chrome 22 which is currently in the beta channel. Otherwise, if you sit tight, Chrome 22 will eventually be available in the stable channel and pushed to you as an automatic update. I'm going to close this thread and unpin it since the problem is resolved in Chrome 22.

If you are having another issue, please do start a new thread so we can help! <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

    Cheers,
