Hey guys you forgot one thing in your solution for this problem. After updating to 3.8.2Beta-1 you have to clear the cache in the hidden Library>Application Support>1Password>Cache. I'm not sure if using the Help>Troubleshooting>Clear Cache works the same way since I did it manually after trying the fix listed and having no success. I then read the whole thread, and found this little "gem" that was left out.

I too store PDFs in 1Password among other files. So, I imagine that people reporting no problems most likely do not store PDFs in their 1Password Data Files.

    Anyway, thanks.

PS: I think "Clear Cache" and the other items under "Help>Troubleshoting" should probably be under "Tools", but after looking at it, I think "Troubleshooting" is misnamed. It should probably be "Troubleshooting Tools." Not only that, but Troubleshooting has a "FAQ" menu item that dumps you into a general FAQ section, not an FAQ section specifically on troubleshooting. Now I know it's a bit of work to make a new landing page just for troubleshooting, but I think it would have saved me about a half hour if a new Troubleshooting Page was the landing and if it kept an RSS feed of HOT known issues and the links to the discussion forum that solves or at least discusses them. But hey, I'm just a veteran IT support guy. Don't listen to me. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

Additional info you don't need to read:

I've been using 1Password for years and years now. I think since v1.x, and it has served me well. I have an additional feature restoration request I'll post elsewhere.... stay tuned.
  • Hello noivad,

Thanks for your suggestions. I hope we've resolved the issue with our recent releases, but I am always happy when users post his or her experiences.

    Cheers!
